Panasonic releases AVC Intra Encoder for Compressor

Panasonic has released a quicktime plugin for Final Cut 7 and Compressor 3.5 that allows users to export a timeline to the AVC-Intra format.

The plugin allow for the creation of a quicktime avc-i file, or a P2 card for playout on a P2 device.

This will allow editors to work with AVC-I timelines and not have to output via base-band video via a Kona card.

The plugin can be downloaded from Panasonic's worldwide support site.
